Match Overview
South Africa and New Zealand will take on each other in the second semifinal of the Champions Trophy 2025. Hardik Pandya made a cameo at the end, but Henry returned to complete his fifer at the death and contain India to what appeared to be a below-par 249.
India’s spinners then took over on the slow Dubai track. Kane Williamson made a fifty, but the spinners kept the pressure on throughout the middle overs, and New Zealand’s batter came a cropper as the asking rate kept climbing up. Varun Chakravarthy took a fifer of his own to keep the Kiwis in check and keep India’s unbeaten streak going in the tournament.
