Ireland have made the trip to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and five T20Is. The first ODI is scheduled to be played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Thursday, January 18.
Zimbabwean players will be raring to go after they won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier 2023 last month. They defeated Namibia in the semifinals before getting past hosts Uganda in the summit clash.
Ireland, on the other hand, played their last series against Scotland in October. They won the ODI series 2-1 after losing the first match. The two-match T20I series ended 1-1. In July 2023, Australia visited Ireland to play three ODIs against the European nation. The series turned out to be a one-sided affair as was anticipated, but the Irish players got an opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the finest players in women’s cricket. They would love to use that experience and get the better of a buoyant Zimbabwean side.

Hunter has shown commendable consistency in recent times and will look to continue the good work.
Probable Best Bowler: Precious Marange
