Legendary cricketer MS Dhoni provided his fans with cheerful news as he was retained ahead of the IPL 2025 (Indian Premier League) season. The former Chennai Super Kings captain will be seen donning the jersey for at least one more year.
Henceforth, his admirers are eagerly waiting for the commencement of the 18th season of the cash-rich league. But ahead of the impending season, the wicketkeeper-batter was seen enjoying time with friends and family. A video has been spreading like wildfire in the social media domain.
MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi Singh Rawat, were seen dancing to a Pahadi song (a folk song of a hilly region in north India). It is worth noting that both Dhoni and Sakshi have ancestral roots in the Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand.

Ravichandran Ashwin gets a homecoming for IPL 2025 season
Speaking of the popular IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), they entered the IPL 2025 mega auctions in Saudi Arabia with a remaining purse of INR 55 crore. They managed to re-buy some of their key players from IPL 2024, with the likes of the prolific New Zealand batter Devon Conway and the rising Kiwi all rounder, Rachin Ravindra.

Moreover, their foregone asset, Ravichandran Ashwin also made it to the yellow camp after a hiatus of nine years. Hence it would be apt to say that Ashwin got his much cherished homecoming being a Chennai-based cricketer in India’s biggest cricket carnival.
