Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions returns to action on Saturday January 3rd for a big women’s boxing showcase featuring their top female attraction Amanda Serrano taking on Reina Tellez.
Serrano is often paired alongside Jake Paul on his undercards and often saves the event with her aggressive and gutsy style of boxing. She’s coming off two controversial decision losses to Katie Taylor, both of which she easily could have been declared the winner of. Originally she was set to face Erika Cruz, but a pre-fight drug test failure for Cruz resulted in Reina Tellez getting swapped in.
On the undercard, UFC fans will recognize former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm will take on WBA lightweight world champion Stephanie Han. A win won’t just bring her back to boxing championship gold after more than a decade, it will set Holm up for a potential superfight with the aforementioned Katie Taylor.
Prelims will get going on DAZN Saturday January 3rd at 2:30 p.m. EST, with the main card starting at 8 p.m. EST. But first, all the fighters on the card will face off at the ceremonial weigh-ins.
