John Garbarino scored another knockout finish last night (Fri., July 25, 2025) at BKFC Philly from inside 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Penn., as “Johnny Cannoli” laid waste to welterweight counterpart Erik Lopez with a vicious second-round TKO.
Garbarino, who was born in Philly and fighting in front of his hometown, has became a bit of a legend around bareknuckle boxing. While the welterweight fighter has shown his ability to stop opponents inside of the ring it’s actually his pre-fight antics that are gaining the most traction. That’s because Garbarino has smashed each and every one of his BKFC opponents with a cannoli during official weigh ins.
This week was no different as “Johnny Cannoli” took advantage of Lopez during Thursday’s official BKFC Philly staredowns and kept the tradition going. Check it out below:
Luckily, Garbarino can back up his pre-fight antics with powerful bareknuckle boxing. On Friday night, “Johnny Cannoli” needed just two rounds to score five knockdowns against Lopez and eventually earned a brutal second-round TKO stoppage. It was Garbarino’s third-straight knockout finish to start his BKFC career and an incredible way to cap off yet another cannoli-throwing week.
