
The Vidarbha Pro T20 League has announced its brand ambassadors in the latest development that has come forward. Popular Indian cricketers – Umesh Yadav and Jhulan Goswami will promote the league and cricket in the region of Vidarbha. A total of six men’s teams and three women’s teams will take part in the inaugural edition of the tournament to focus on developing talents at the grassroots level.
Prashant Vaidya, the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Vidarbha Pro T20 League, announced Umesh and Jhulan as the league’s brand ambassadors. He felt it was essential for the aspiring youngsters to have someone to look forward to. Vaidya felt Umesh and Goswami as the right fits to promote the game in the region and was proud to welcome them on board.
“As a budding cricketer, it’s essential to have role models to look up to for motivation. For the aspiring talents in Vidarbha, we have identified Umesh Yadav and Jhulan Goswami as the ideal representatives of the game. We are proud and excited to have them join us,” he stated in a release.

After the announcement, Umesh claimed it to be his privilege to be the Brand Ambassador of the league and hoped to discover several new talents with the right platform.
“It’s a privilege to represent my home region through the Vidarbha Pro T20 League. I am confident that this league will discover new talent and offer young players the platform they rightfully deserve,” he claimed.
Goswami, the leading wicket taker in the One-Day format, was excited to be a part of the league. She felt the sport in India was progressing and was happy about initiatives taken on nurturing young talents from the women’s division in the country.
“I am excited to be a part of a league that emphasizes grassroots development and regional pride. Cricket in India is progressing, and initiatives like this are crucial for shaping the future of women’s cricket in the country,” Goswami said.
