In a ranked Dota 2 game where they played on opposing teams, Southeast Asian core players Kim “Gabbi” Santos and Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon got into an argument. Towards the end of the game, Gabbi tipped 23savage as the latter’s team was on the verge of losing, leading to an exchange of words between the two players. The tip led to 23savage commenting in all chat, “nice tip ****** ugly face,” directed at Gabbi who then responded by calling the player “monkey.” The exchange escalated as both continued to exchange insults and abuses until the Ancient was destroyed, bringing the game to a conclusion.
Gabbi and 23 savage engage in a heated argument in a Dota 2 pub
23savage played Luna on Radiant while Gabbi played Lion on Dire as part of a Dota 2 ranked game featuring some prominent SEA players like Carlo “Kuku” Palad, Yuri “Yowe” Pacaña, and more.
During an intense fight near the Radiant base involving buybacks, the Dire showed great positioning and spellcasting to come out on top. In the face of creeps running into the Radiant base and almost all heroes being killed on the side, Gabbi decided to tip 23savage.
Immediately after 23savage called Gabbi out, Filipino players playing the game, likely conversing on Discord, began laughing, leading Gabbi to counter. As a response to 23savage’s comment that Gabbi was “super ugly,” he was told he needed a “nose job.”
The Thai carry player went on to say that “at least he was not born poor” and that his family had a life, unlike “Gabbi’s.” Gabbi kept insisting that 23savage get a new nose and use his money for it.
23savage referred to Gabbi as an “ugly stupid bitch mannerless creature,” and said that he had a better nose than him. He went on to remark that he could not think of a dumber guy than Gabbi, and that despite his poor performance, he was able to join new teams since the players were friends.
In response, Gabbi commented that 23savage is “kicked every time,” to which 23savage responded that he has never lost a tournament against him since the TNC Fnatic days.
The game then ended, as did the argument, which appeared to be enjoyable for the other Filipino participants.
Gabbi currently plays offlane for Blacklist International, while 23savage is Aurora’s carry. Blacklist International recently played in the BetBoom Dacha Dubai and DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers but did not advance to the main event.
Aurora, however, secured a direct invite to BetBoom Dacha and won the DreamLeague Season 22: Southeast Asia Closed Qualifier where Blacklist finished 5th-6th.
