Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Flirtation may have led to something more … committing.
Former Bellator Welterweight contender Michael “Venom” Page is one of the hottest free agents in the fight business right now. Page (21-2) was apart of the Bellator roster for ten years, and he defeated some quality competition in that time, names like Douglas Lima and Goiti Yamauchi. More importantly, the 36-year-old Englishman is known for scoring devastating knockouts.
UFC CEO Dana White has confirmed the promotion is interested. Eagle-eyed fight fans have noticed something more than mere interest — they spotted Page’s name on White’s board for UFC 297, which is scheduled for January 20, 2023 in Toronto, Canada. Specifically, Page’s name is seen across from Kevin Holland, another Welterweight knockout artist.
Now, these boards don’t necessarily mean the fight is fully booked, and the Full Send podcast the screenshot is from was filmed roughly a week ago. Still, it’s strong evidence that UFC is planning on Page joining the roster, and you couldn’t ask for a better first dance partner than “Trailblazer.” Historically, these leaked bouts tend to come true more often than not!
Stay tuned for further updates on Page’s potential UFC future.

Knockdown off the jab and then a slick submission while falling off back mount — nice!
