Bali, Berlin, April, 28, 2023 — GRID partners with IO Esports and co-organiser EPULZE to provide game data services to the final Dota 2 Major of 2023 in Bali. This will be the first time a Dota 2 Major comes to Indonesia.
Bali Major is part of the Dota Pro Circuit, a series of events that rewards teams with points for placements within Valve-sponsored tournaments and ultimately grants the top teams the invitations to The International.
“To provide the best fan experience is at the core of what we are doing. We believe that the game data services are a vital part of delivering the next generation entertainment for communities. Partnering with GRID enables us to empower our events with innovative solutions and provide world-class tournaments.” — Kenchi Yap, Chief Executive Officer of IO Esports
IO Esports, a Malaysian event organiser, will be in charge of the Bali Major alongside EPULZE, who co-organised the Lima Major in February. GRID will provide the data services including data management and distribution, but also data-related security services, and integrity monitoring.
