Three Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veterans have fought their last fight.
UFC 310 went down last night (Sat., Dec. 7, 2024) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it was a bad night for former UFC Middleweight champion Chris Weidman, former Light Heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith, and Clay Guida.
All three of them were finished: Weidman was mercifully stopped by Eryk Anders in the second round (watch highlights), Smith was brutally stopped by Dominick Reyes (watch it), and Guida was tapped in the first round by Chase Hooper.
After the event, UFC CEO Dana White declared they should all call it quits.
“They all retire tonight, White told the media when asked what happens to them next. “They should all retire tonight.”

For what it’s worth, he might have retired in his home state of New York last month at UFC 309, but his fight with Anders was canceled during the broadcast.
he beat surging prospect Vitor Petrino in Brazil this year, Khalil Rountree brutally stopped him before that and is now on a two-fight losing skid again.
faked his retirement at UFC Kansas City in 2023, which did not go over well (and really made White mad).
