Kickboxing fans witnessed a gnarly doctor’s stoppage earlier today (Sat., June 14, 2025) at GLORY 100 LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, when heavyweight veteran Jamal Ben Saddik suffered a bad cut to his shin and couldn’t continue.
Saturday’s GLORY 100 event was stacked from top to bottom, which included an undercard matchup between Saddik — who won the heavyweight grand prix back in 2018 — and French striker Sofian Laidouni. Saddik was the betting favorite given his size, experience, and ability to finish fights, but it was Laidouni who pulled away with the win.
The fight offered solid back-and-forth exchanges while it lasted, but at some point during the first-round chaos Saddik suffered a large laceration to his shin. The cut was massive and started to gush blood. After a closer look at Saddik the doctor decided to call a stop to the fight.
As a result, Laidouni walked away with the early TKO stoppage and advances to the Group 4 Tournament Finals.
