Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweights will headline a Fight Night in “Sin City.”
No. 3-ranked Amir Albazi will collide with No. 5-seeded Tatsuro Taira at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday, August 2, 2025, inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Taira’s management announced the fight on social media today (Weds., May 14, 2025)

Taira (16-1) suffered his first professional loss in his most recent fight, dropping a split decision to the current No. 1-ranked flyweight Brandon Royval (watch highlights). Despite the loss, he earned an additional $50,000 for ‘Fight of the Night.’
Before his first pro defeat, Taira secured six consecutive wins inside the Octagon, including victories over former title challenger Alex Perez (highlights), Carlos Hernandez, Edgar Chairez, among others.
UFC Vegas 108 marks Taira’s third consecutive promotional main event.

dominated by former two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno at UFC Edmonton in Nov. 2024. It was his first UFC loss, ending a six-fight winning streak. Five of those wins came in the UFC against opponents including Kai Kara-France, Alessandro Costa, Francisco Figueiredo, and Zhalgas Zhumagulov.
Only two other bouts are confirmed for UFC Vegas 108: Ketlen Souza vs. Piera Rodriguez and Felipe Bunes vs. Andre Lima.
