The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has started off with grand festivities across various corners of the country. In addition, actress Sara Ali Khan is set to perform on March 30 at the ACA Stadium, Guwahati ahead of the clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
As IPL celebrates 18 successful years, the BCCI has planned to celebrate the opening ceremonies at all venues, unlike previous editions, which featured only one opening ceremony.
The inaugural ceremony of IPL 2025 was a spectacle at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, before the season opener between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) kicked off. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan adorned everyone with his presence, while actress Disha Patani and rapper Karan Aujla delivered their electrifying performances.

Similar celebrations have already happened in Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad. Now, Sara is set to light up the ACA Stadium with an energetic performance featuring dance and high-octane entertainment.
Following the pre-match ceremony, RR and CSK will face off in match 11 of the season. Super Kings began their campaign on a high note with a commanding victory over Mumbai Indians, while Royals are struggling having lost their two games. RR will be eager to end their losing streak and secure their first points of the season against Chennai Super Kings.
However, in their latest clash against RCB, Chennai had to face a heavy defeat by a margin of 50 runs at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Rajasthan, on the other hand, are yet to gain points on the table and will be looking to do it in the upcoming clash on Sunday.
