UFC London went down yesterday (Sat., March 22, 2025) inside 02 Arena in London, England which featured a Welterweight showdown that saw Sean Brady submit Leon Edwards in the fourth round (see it again here). In the co-main event, Carlos Ulberg defeated Jan Blachowicz via unanimous decision (recap here), while Molly McCann called it a career after losing to UFC rookie, Alexia Thainara, via first-round submission (see it again here).

Winner: Sean Brady

Who He Should Face Next: Shavkhat Rakhmonov

With a record of 8-1 and the biggest win of his career in his back pocket, Brady could be looking at the No. 3 spot come next week. At the moment, division king, Belal Muhammad — which is Brady’s lone defeat inside the Octagon — is set to defend his belt against Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 315. That title fight was set to go to Rakhmonov before he was yanked with an injury. Now, he may have to win one more fight if he wants to get his first-ever UFC title fight, and it could very well have to come against Brady, who proved he is more than ready to contend for gold himself.

UFC Fight Night: Blachowicz v Ulberg

Winner: Carlos Ulberg

Who He Should Face Next: Jiri Prochazka

After securing his eighth straight win, Ulberg is sure to lock down a spot in the Top 5, getting him ever-so close to a shot at the title. As impressive as his win was, he may have to win at least one more fight if he wants to get into the championship conversation. Division king, Magomed Ankalaev, says he has his first title defense locked in, which could very well be a rematch against Alex Pereira. If that is the case, then the next best fight for Ulberg could be against Prochazka, who bounced back after his second loss to “Poatan” by stopping Jamahal Hill at UFC 311 (recap here).

UFC Fight Night: Nelson v Holland

Winner: Kevin Holland

Who He Should Face Next: Themba Gorimbo

Holland made a successful return to the 170-pound division by defeating Gunnar Nelson in dominant fashion, his first win in nearly a year. In doing so, “Trailblazer” snaps his two-fight losing streak and perhaps gets his confidence back. As far as who he should face next, perhaps a showdown against Gorimbo is in order. Gorimbo is coming off a loss to Vicente Luque at UFC 310, which snapped his four-fight win streak.

UFC Fight Night: McCann v Thainara

Winner: Alexia Thainara

Who He Should Face Next: Fatima Kline

Thainara made her UFC debut on short notice against Molly McCann and went on to submit “Meatball” in the very first round (see it again here), extending her win streak to 10 straight. “Burguesinha” is definitely out to inject some fresh blood into the women’s Strawweight division. That said, she has a steep hill to climb, so slow and steady should be the pace for her, and fight against Kline next seems fitting. Kline is coming off a win over Victoria Dudakova, improving to 1-1 inside the Octagon.

UFC Fight Night: Edwards v Brady

Winner: Nathaniel Wood

Who He Should Face Next: Doo Ho Choi

Wood won his second straight and improved 5-1 in his last six fights under the UFC banner. The talented Featherweight brawler is on a good run and is on pace to make a crack at the Top 15. I like a fight against Choi next for Wood. Choi has won two straight and is coming off a big win over Nate Landwehr, stopping him via strikes at UFC 310.
