Yannick Bahati cemented his name in the Cage Warriors history book earlier today (Fri., Mar. 21, 2025) at Cage Warriors 186 from inside Indigo at The O2 in London, England, when the journeyman fighter stunned his opponent with an epic four-second knockout (punch).
UFC London card, but fight fans didn’t know they’d witness a Knockout of the Year candidate early into Friday evening. Fortunately, these Cage Warriors cards always seem to impress.
Bahati, who has fought for various mixed martial arts (MMA) promotions over the past 14 years of his career, certainly did not stand out on this card heading into the event. That’s because the 35-year-old possessed a 9-7-1 (1 NC) professional record and had only won one fight over his past eight appearances. This included losses to the likes of Dricus du Plessis and Melvin Manhoef.
MMA is as unpredictable as any sport in the world and Bahati proved that on Friday. It took the light heavyweight fighter from Congo a grand total of four seconds to land a massive right hand to Australian opponent, Charles Joyner, that sent him crashing to the canvas. The referee was right on top of the action and wasted no time cutting in and stopping the fight with just four seconds off the clock.
