Indian pace-bowling spearhead, Mohammed Shami, has been injured and recuperating from his Achilles Heel injury since quite some time now. It is almost going to be nine months since Shami last stepped onto the field, with his last competitive game being the 2023 World Cup final, a tournament in which he emerged as the leading wicket-taker by scalping 24 wickets in just seven innings.
The usual kinds of updates the pacer has been providing on his Instagram and other social media handles were regarding his emotions while on the road to recovery and grinding it out through various training drills including strength & conditioning sessions.
However, it was his recent post on the social media which was the talk of the town. Shami posted three pictures of his new look, looking crisp as ever as he sported a dashingly stylish look with his facial hair pruned to perfection as well as his hair taking on a contemporary spiky form. Notably, the mirror selfies were snapped by renowned celebrity stylist, Hakim Aalim, who was standing right behind the seated Shami.
Hakim is a renowned hair stylist personality in Mumbai, and there have been many a cricketers and sportspersons who’ve come to him to make themselves look fresher than usual.
There were a flurry of reactions from netizens in the comments section, with one of them even going to the extent of complimenting the cricketer by admitting that he looked 20 years younger than his current age.

Shami, who was eariler on track of making a comeback in the series against Bangladesh, has been touted by the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jay Shah, as being crucial for the tour Down Under.
