West Ham United have announced that they have completed a deal for Palmeiras winger Luis Guilherme.
The 18-year-old will reportedly sign a five-year contract with the East London outfit.
The talented forward will complete his transfer on Friday when the Premier League summer transfer window officially opens.
Guilherme is one of the best talents to have emerged from Palmeiras’ youth academy.
He made his competitive debut for the Brazilian side in April last year and went on to pick up 45 appearances across all competitions, with a goal and an assist to his name.
West Ham’s interest in the teenager first emerged at the end of May but a deal looked to have collapsed due to his salary demands.
However, the Premier League outfit have now agreed a deal for a £25.5 million fee, per BBC Sport.
The Hammers parted company with David Moyes at the end of the 2023-24 season as supporters were unhappy with his brand of football.
Julen Lopetegui has taken his place in the dugout and he will look to strengthen his ranks this summer.
Guilherme is the Spaniard’s first signing but he will be looking to bring in more reinforcements before the end of the transfer window.
