Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Nitish Reddy smashed his maiden IPL half-century against Punjab Kings. His knock came in the back of SRH’s top-order collapse carried out by PBKS bowlers. While the likes of Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram failed to bail the Sunrisers out, it was Reddy who showcased his prowess at the right time. The batter played his only fourth Indian Premier League game on Tuesday.
Reddy took the PBKS bowlers to the cleaners as his colleagues struggled to cope with the pace. He particularly smashed the key bowler of PBKS, Harpreet Brar for three sixes and three boundaries. He fetched 23 runs off Brar’s over and changed the momentum of the game. His 64 runs in 37 balls made his knock seem like he was batting on a different pitch altogether. The Andhra batter brought up his highest T20 score in the process.
