During the second day of the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring, a number of games were played as the teams moving to the playoffs and the ones being eliminated were determined. As part of Group A, L1GA Team eliminated PSG Quest to open the day, followed by Virtus.pro taking down Team Liquid to qualify for the playoffs. L1GA Team and Liquid faced off in the decisive series with the playoffs spot on the line, with the latter winning. In Group B, Spirit averted an early tournament exit by defeating 1win. Meanwhile, Entity maintained its robust momentum from the initial game, ensuring qualification for the playoffs. In the last series of the day, Spirit had a rematch against MOUZ, in which they managed to secure a commanding 2-0 victory to book a spot in the next round.

Group A
After losing their initial Bo1 games, L1GA TEAM and PSG Quest faced off in an elimination match and it turned out to be a thrilling start to the day.
L1GA TEAM was able to achieve huge networth leads, but Quest came back a few times due to top-notch target prioritization. Ultimately, RAMZES666 showcased his prowess on Sven for L1GA TEAM, contributing significantly to the team’s victory.
Another tight Bo1 game was played between Liquid, playing with Enzo “Timado” Gianoli as the stand-in carry, and Virtus.pro, both vying for a playoffs spot.
It came down to better teamfight performance in the 60 minute plus ga,e, with Divine Rapiers acquired on either side, and Virtus.pro triumphed because of a strong combination of high damage and sustain.
Liquid and L1GA TEAM then faced off in a Bo3 determine the second and final team from Group A to advance to the playoffs. L1GA TEAM pulled off an upset in the opening game with an emphatic victory.
The second game started slowly, but Enigma’s flawless Blackholes and Timado’s outstanding play on Luna helped tie the series 1-1. Liquid had a stronger draft and played aggressively, resulting in a win in less than 20 minutes in the third game.
Group B
Spirit and 1win faced off in a decisive Bo1 elimination match in Group B. Despite both teams having competitive drafts, Spirit flexed its superior teamfighting skills, prevailing despite 1win’s appropriate itemization to secure victory within 45 minutes.
In the Bo1 match with a playoffs berth at stake, Entity delivered one of the more comprehensive performances of the day. MOUZ found itself outdrafted and suffered a defeat in just 32 minutes, managing only seven kills compared to Entity’s 29.
The final series of the day saw Team Spirit book a rematch against MOUZ. This time with its full roster, the two-time TI champions decimated MOUZ to secure an easy 2-0 victory with Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk standing out as the MVP of both games.
