Dota 2 professionals and personalities often discuss their dream lineups, and Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok, a former player for Team Secret, shared his dream team in a recent Twitch livestream. As a lineup containing only Eastern European (EEU) players, Resolut1on had three Team Spirit players and Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, an emerging player for Team Falcons, in the midlane. In position four, he included Baqyt “Zayac” Emiljanov, a former teammate with whom he has shared excellent camaraderie and synergy in the offlane over the past few years.
Resolut1on names an all EEU Dota 2 dream team
Beginning with the carry, Resolut1on had Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, who has proven to be one of the most influential players in the position role over the past few years. Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov and Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, two more Spirit players, played offlaner and position five on Resolut1on’s dream squad, respectively.
The three players are two-time The International (TI) champions and the most successful in the last three years. While Yatoro’s consistency has been unparalleled, Collapse has been explosive in the offlane, and Miposhka is well known for his leadership and warding abilities as a position five.
Malr1ne occupied the midlane in the dream team. The player, a relative newcomer to the tier one competitive scene, has been performing well in pubs and recently won the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 tournament with Falcons. He was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his top performances during the event.
The pick for the positon four player was likely influenced by the strong friendship with Zayac. The two players have shown a desire to play together in the past with Resolut1on as the offlaner and Zayac as the position four, and they performed well with Team Secret in 2022-23, finishing second at TI11.
Resolut1on has been livestreaming lately and has also served as a broadcast talent in several major Dota 2 competitions in recent months. He has taken breaks from competitive activities due to burnout, but a positive development occurred a few weeks ago.
The Ukrainian had stated that he wanted to restart playing competitively as a captain and support position four/five, and that he would search for teams to play for after he had gained enough experience in the roles.
