South Africa and the Netherlands are locking horns in Match 15 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on Tuesday, October 17 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and invited Netherlands to bat first. The decision was vindicated by his seamers who got early breakthroughs for their side and left them reeling at 50/4.
23-year-old Gerald Coetzee was also among the wickets, however, he didn’t get his spell off to a good start. The right-arm seamer began his spell in a rather bizarre manner as he bowled a wide delivery down the leg side. On the very next ball, Coetzee bowled a wide delivery on the other side of the stumps as his delivery was collected by Heinrich Klaasen at first slip. The bizarre ball left even the commentators in splits.
